Malagassi has been collaborating on the ground with local farmers in Madagascar for more than 30 years. Maintaining the trust and respect of the Malagasy people – and all of our producing partners around the world – is of the utmost importance to us.
We are committed to investing in their livelihoods and well-being so that they can share in our success and thrive.
EDUCATING MADAGASCAR’S YOUTH.
In our exchanges with the Malagasy people, they have identified education as a primary need within their community. In response, Malagassi designed and built the first school in Loharano, Madagascar in 2019.
The school – Ecole Malagassi 1 – offers 70 children from ages 5-15 the opportunity for an education.
A second school – Ecole Malagassi 2 – is currently under construction, scheduled to open later this year, and plans are already under way for a third.
We are proud to continue this important initiative, which allows us to share our success with our community.

SUPPORTING FARMERS ON THE GROUND.
To further support the livelihoods of our partners in Madagascar, we started an agricultural education program that teaches local farmers about sustainable agricultural practices that increase their yields over time while reducing marginal production costs.
